To obtain a D driving license, you must:

• You have a Swedish driving license with B category.

• You have a driver's license.

• You are a permanent resident of Sweden or have been studying here for at least six months.

• You have reached the age of 24*

• You have passed a driving test (knowledge test and driving test).

• You do not have a driving license from another EEA country. If you do have such a driving license, it is possible to exchange it for a Swedish one.
